Fire Sale Carl Hansen & Son CH22 Lounge Chair

The CH22 lounge chair was one of the first chairs in Hans J. Wegner’s debut collection created exclusively for Carl Hansen & Søn in 1950 – a series that would become iconic for its representation of the modern Danish design philosophy.

The CH22 dining chair is closely related to the CH26 lounge chair. Both have good ergonomics, a sturdy construction and characteristic curved armrest supports. CH26 serves as both a dining chair and desk chair, and Wegner has taken the table height and chair usage carefully into account in its proportions and construction.
